There are over 20 million xbox live gold users, which I deduced from several articles. According to some online MS points converter, 20 ms points equals 0,25 cents.
0,25x 20 million = 5 million dollars. That's how much credit they will be handing out each year to all the xbox live users combined. It's probably not much for a company such as Microsoft and it will probably not make a difference anyway since there are no actual physical products but it's a considerable amount of money. Food for thought, please correct me if I'm wrong.
lol, except that you can't buy anything with 20 points. Thus you have to spend other points in order to use these 20. Microsoft loses nothing. They gain way more profit than this loses them.
I'd honestly rather they give us nothing. Giving 20 points is hilariously stupid.
