*Someone blames all Muslims on 9/11
"DURR HURR DAT RACISIS!"
*Someone blames all Americans and their soldiers for the torture of Iraqis and a car crash

I hate Psy, all Asians are responsible for Pearl Habor, they're a bunch of wide eye g00ks who deserve to die not eat rice all day.
Wait, a bunch of Asians like me now for my music, oh that was just a phase, so sorry.

The point of the rap is to get the message across that we are doing bad things and that it shouldn't be allowed.

From the modern rapper's perceptive?

I doubt it.

Not trolling, bro. The US has done some deplorable things.

Alright, now I hate him.

You hate him because he hated the US for things like this.

The US often deserves to be hated.

The US as a whole? No. Those animals who are a disgrace to our human race? Yes.
Why not hate the US as a whole for things like Guantanamo Bay? Afghanistan? Iraq?

Are you genuinely this stupid or is this an act? You can't hate an entire country for what a few branches of the government do. It's pretty clear you don't even have a good understanding of anything you listed.
Why not blame a nation, who with a democratically-elected government with popular support committed such internationally-condemned acts?

It's not like a select few people did this against the will of the American populace. You have been and continue to be in support of your country's warmongering tendencies.

>9/11 - a small attack done by a few extremists - around 3000 dead

>Iraq - a large-scale invasion of a sovereign nation, done so with near-unanimous international condemnation, with popular domestic support committed by a democratic nation - over 100 000 dead

Hardly equitable.

But to "understand where he's coming from" in regards to killing the families of troops. I wouldn't mind if he said kill the troops that commit war crimes, but he went a little too far into the insane area.
I said "I understand where he's coming from" not "I totally support those things." I understand the motivation behind it.

Those Iraqis deserved all that torture and war crimes against them, they allowed Saddam to hold power. They allowed the war crime invasion of Kuwait, they allowed Saddamn to kill thousands upon thousands of ethnic Kurds who are still treated like 2nd class citizens. It isn't simpely just a few people who got Saddam in power who did this, it was a whole nation who deserves the violence they get.

  • 12.07.2012 3:45 PM PDT

Honestly I was expecting worse. Then considering the circumstances for why he said what he did I don't have a problem with it.

Funny.

A lot of Americans hate Muslims because a few Muslim extremists have done some bad things. But as soon as someone says something bad about the US they say it's uncalled for.

You do more harm than good America. You need to start realizing that.

Are you aware a huge portion of the country doesn't support the Iraq War? Just because we elect people doesn't mean everyone likes them. Sometimes people are elected and turn around and do what they said they wouldn't do. This happens all the time. A candidate says they'll do one thing and usually doesn't follow through.
Yet the american people elected them, gave them their support, and allow them to keep committing these acts. No dice

Not to mention, Afghanistan is perfectly justified. The entire War on Terror is justified. You people seem to forget that terrorist attacked Europe and North America, but hey, let's sick back and do nothing. That'll solve the problem.
You created terrorism with the war on terror. Your country motivated the terrorists to attack, not the other way around. But hey, just keep swallowing that brainwashing.

The US wasn't the only nation that went into Iraq. So did the UK, Canada, some South Koreans, and others. But apparently, only the US is still to blame, despite the support of other countries.
Canada did NOT fight in the Iraq war, thank you very much.

A select few countries supported the US. The UN condemned it and nearly all of its member-states.

The US instigated, spearheaded, and prolonged the Iraq war. The deserve most (though not all) of the blame.

Funny thing is, the nation elected Obama, who first ran on the proposition of shutting down Guantanamo and pulling out of the Iraq/Afghanistan wars. The people elected him because they wanted what he was for, right? So the people are to blame when another snake of a politician fails on his proposals? How is the US to blame for that?

And clearly you seem to disregard the fact that more than half the nation disapproved of the wars quite quickly and wanted out. Once again, how are the civilians to blame for the government's lack of action, which people elected them to do? I don't support any of it. The scum who directly enact those atrocities are.
The American people elected the people that committed these acts, and gave them support. Don't act as if all Americans are against these wars. Even IF all Americans were against the wars, why do they let the government keep fighting them? So naïve to think the citizens of a DEMOCRATIC nation aren't responsible for their government's actions.
