I'm just going to ignore whatever is going on in this thread, and respond on topic:

No, I am not in a relationship, and I am not currently seeking one. Maybe once I get into college, but as long as I am in High School my goal is to remain single.
You're doing it wrong. College isn't the time for a relationship. You'll never have so many opportunities to have no strings attached sex again in your life.

I have too much going on in High School right now. A relationship would overwhelm me. Also, I see college as a chance to begin anew. In my current state in High School, I would never be able to get into a relationship. In college, I can start fresh, develop social confidence, and hopefully find someone.

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

OP was reported for having a boyfriend?

OP was reported because the flood is butthurt over who OP is.
So, is she actually the girlfriend of Harlow, a person who I've heard the username of once and have a very faint idea who he is? I'm trying to understand if the report is stupid or -blam!- retarded.

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

I don't think that's necessarily a bad idea. I definitely did not know what I wanted in a relationship when I was in high school, and I don't think I knew enough about myself to stop myself being taken advantage of or seriously hurt if I had sought out a relationship. (Actually, all of that stuff did end up happening in my first relationship, which was in college, but that's another story.)

I mean, some people are mature enough for serious relationships in high school, and good on them if they are. I just know I wasn't, and I don't think it's a bad thing to hold off on dating or sex until you know you're ready.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

This thread...its like a roller coaster. At times it falls down into what you'd expect to to fall to given the context, but at other times it rises up with some unexpected empathy and even some jovial interaction.

I'm not sure what to make of it. On one hand, its a perfectly acceptable thread for the Flood, but as expected some of the crap going on in it is pissing me off.

I'm not here to protect anyone, especially if they put themselves out there for criticism. So I don't really care what you have to say about the OP. I do though care that you're all following the rules. Criticizing or complimenting the OP, or talking about your own relationships is fine. Ad hominum attacks, flaming, all this banal off topic crap, etcetra won't fly. So dial it back a bit Flood.

Pretty much. Jay is Harlows lady friend. People tend to hate them separately but even more when mentioned together. It's..It's amussing in a flood kind of way. You know. Sad.

Exactly. Part of why I don't want a relationship is because of school, but I also don't really feel ready, or know what I want from a relationship. I feel that college will provide a chance to really become ready for such things (or at least practice for forming relationships after college). Right now, though, I really just need to focus on friends and school.

Chalk it up to Formatting.

Topic of thread: "I've been with my boyfriend for 18 months!"

Body of thread: "Woo 18 months We're so cool and i love attention! Now i'll follow up with a question or two so this isn't locked!"

I don't see discussion value in her 18 month relationship.

I always told myself this. I'm a sophomore in college now and im barely inching along with women. During senior year of high school i told my friend that I don't think i'll ever get into a relationship until I enter the workforce. I'm probably kidding myself, providing another excuse to delay intimate interaction with women.

I like how the mods are keeping this thread open just to prove some sort of point.

OP is an obvious attention whore, a part of a faction that's known for its pretentiousness and attention-whoring. Period.

If threads that cause these wars are allowed, why not allow those good ol' circumcision threads that cause plenty of discussion, not nearly as hostile as this? Or political threads?

You know why? Because the majority of BNET, including the mods and administration, support this attention whoring and "class warfare". Yay! Exactly why a lot of my old BNET buddies stopped coming here altogether. I'm just glad I haven't been banned for being accused of "wanting to kill BNET members with bullets soaked in pigs blood". LOL!
