I'm just going to ignore whatever is going on in this thread, and respond on topic:
No, I am not in a relationship, and I am not currently seeking one. Maybe once I get into college, but as long as I am in High School my goal is to remain single.I don't think that's necessarily a bad idea. I definitely did not know what I wanted in a relationship when I was in high school, and I don't think I knew enough about myself to stop myself being taken advantage of or seriously hurt if I had sought out a relationship. (Actually, all of that stuff did end up happening in my first relationship, which was in college, but that's another story.)
I mean, some people are mature enough for serious relationships in high school, and good on them if they are. I just know I wasn't, and I don't think it's a bad thing to hold off on dating or sex until you know you're ready.
Exactly. Part of why I don't want a relationship is because of school, but I also don't really feel ready, or know what I want from a relationship. I feel that college will provide a chance to really become ready for such things (or at least practice for forming relationships after college). Right now, though, I really just need to focus on friends and school.
I always told myself this. I'm a sophomore in college now and im barely inching along with women. During senior year of high school i told my friend that I don't think i'll ever get into a relationship until I enter the workforce. I'm probably kidding myself, providing another excuse to delay intimate interaction with women.
