I always seem to have my analog sticks wear out very quickly. The right and left become jammed, hard to move, and then begin to drift by themselves. This causes me a less than ideal gaming experience. So, Flood, out of all the controllers you own is MS the sturdiest? Is there one I could buy that would not have the analog stick worn out fairly easily.

Well, I've been economical with the truth.

The Halo 4 controller feels really nice in my hands, IMO.

Don't they all have the same underlying design? I thought that the plastic skins were the only thing they changed.

The best Xbox 360 Controller is the Xbox 360 controller.

The others just break easily.

Well, I mean there are things like Razer Onza's. I just have big hands so I unintentionally tend to grip my controller, so I believe that causes some damage.

We all wear masks and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing our own skin.

They are designed to end up breaking so you spend money on a new one. That simple.

Or maybe you're just not smart enough to take care of your stuff.

Or maybe you don't play enough to encounter these problems. Xbox 360 controllers break because they are meant to over time which goes for most modern products.

If you play games so much that your controller wears out, then there's a problem. How about doing other things as in going outside. Also, saying a lot of modern products are engineered to break down is moronic in and of itself.

Simple question before I go on how long have you had an xbox 360 and how many controllers if any have you broken?

A hero need not speak. When he is gone, the world will speak for him.

Aren't they all the same? The only difference/changes now are the new d-pad and thumb-sticks.

Get the Razer Onza. I have had it for quite awhile and can't use anything else now.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

He isn't wrong but the way he worded it sounds negative. The Xbox 360 controller only lasts about 4 years even less depending on how much you play. It is usually the analog stick exterior coating that starts going away first in the first year. I also take care of mine.

I've had 1 controller for 5 years and another for three years. My 360 broke and I kept both controllers. I use them both randomly.

So in other words you never really used one often enough to break it. As for controllers breaking the only issue that I have ever had with them are the analog sticks breaking where they would not snap back into position and the rubber wearing down on them. Really both aren't really preventable. Then it is true modern products are designed to break over time hence why companies can offer warranties without too much worry about having to fulfill their end of the deal.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

Power A - Airflo is a better controller than the standard MS controller.

I'll buy another Airflo before I ever consider going back to an MS controller... but to be honest, I don't think my airflo will ever break - at least not as fast as my three broken MS controllers did.

I didn't get another controller until three years after I'd had my first. And even so, it was only so I could use it on PC.

心の中に弱い風が吹いています。

I've been using the old Reach controllers for awhile now. They still feel and look great when I use them.

Get the Razer Onza. I have had it for quite awhile and can't use anything else now.

It looks like a standard controller with some patterns on the side. What makes it better?

Quite a bit actually. Adjustable tension joysticks, 2 additional programmable bumpers, elongated triggers. Probably some other stuff too that I am forgetting. The 2 extra bumpers are the main feature and reason for getting it though.

...the regular Xbox 360 controller? I don't know, that's all I've used.

Sounds good, been looking to buy a better controlled. My MS controllers break constantly.

I've heard Scuff's are really good for COD but they are really expensive. You can assign buttons to the back. : )
