Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.
The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

If it's not ready to be revealed, then don't reveal it.
OP, are you an industry professional? Do you work at Bungie or Activision? Have you seen Bungie's current product? Do you know where it is in development?
No? Oh. Then how do you know it's a good time to show it?
P.S.
VGAs are terrible and hold no merit in the world.
Further thoughts. There really needs to be an alternative video game show/award show of some kind, show the unimaginative VGA crew what actually is in tune with gamers, or just good in general. Samuel Jackson spewing out painfully obvious movie references, in the most contrived of ways.. please, who thought that was a good idea for a gaming show?
Keep it much more gaming related; the more Hollywood one adds, the less worthy of spotlight it makes games, its crowd, and industry seem. And why not call up the gaming industries comedians, if humour is top priority, there are quite a lot funny and interesting developers and journalists, etc? I know that just about half of those who watch will recognise them, but that's just becasue of how it is right now. Some strange consensus that tells the public that game developers aren't capable of being even slightly glamourous, they don't even get treated like an obsure director, they're tucked away like if they are were sweaty ILM workers... Just take your award and go, you can't be a genuin part of the show, we have actors for that, they know how to behave on stage.
I'd like to see an alternative show, to balance consensus and show games and its industry and following for what they are.
Still believe Bungie should have said that they weren't going to be there the moment people started speculating about Destiny being showed at the VGA. It's as simple as that.
