"The hero is the one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by.
The saint is the man who walks through the dark paths of the world, himself a light."
-Felix Adler

Yesterday I gave a christmas present in the form of a teddy bear with a piece of paper.
On the paper it said:
Main present: a dinner date?
A. Yes
B. Yes
C. All of the above

'Twas successful

Waddabout you?

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

But it's not even Christmas yet.

Oh, you think darkness is your ally. You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but BLINDING!

I acted nicely, respectfully, and courteously .
Didn't work out.

Yeah...I know, but our original plan was to give gifts in a secret santa type thing. It got cancelled so we agreed that I could give it to her early.

Did you know that 93% of all statistics on the internet are made up on the spot, and that 68% of readers believe them?

For love? As in, to acquire love? Well, I'm not sure about all that but I've certainly done things that which some may deem as "corny" to show or express my love for another.

The most I've done is notes. And accidentally doing apparently suspicious things that added some kind of layer of mystery, which is obviously complete bull because I'm a pretty bland human being but hey.

Bananas.

Rock bottom is no place to set up camp. Especially in the dark.

Well, today was actually pretty sweet. Today is her and I's six month anniversary. Half a year is a milestone I suppose. But I ran to her house, which is two miles away, only so I could see her for fifteen minutes because I had to go at four anyway. When I got there, I said, "I ran all the way here because I had no ride, and I needed to see you." We walked around outside, and before I left, we kissed. And so help me 6 pound 2 ounce baby Jesus, it started snowing right after we kissed.

It was magical.

"Life is constantly fleeting from your grasp even from the very day it's bestowed upon you, but the shadow of death is always there, waiting for its chance to take you away."

"Even though many may not think so, ignorance and innocence are one and the same. The only difference is that one sounds nicer."

"I once knew a man who spent his entire life contemplating where we go after our death....it's a shame he realized it a second too late to tell anyone."

Hm...I don't know if this would be considered corny, but one day my girlfriend gave me a flower the morning before classes started. In my free time throughout the day, I drew a near perfect copy of it on a piece of paper and wrote a short eight-line poem beneath it to give back to her at the end of the day, which I did.

I still remember that poem as clear as day...

Talking about Sweden is an ultrabannable offense.

Too bad being completely and utterly wrong isn't a bannable offense.

-blam!- notes, man. Ugh.

Have you done much more on the story since I last read it?

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

I have written some truly cheesy love poetry.

Being a poet, I actually wouldn't mind hearing some of it.

Or, well, reading. You know, since I wouldn't be actually "hearing" it.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

I learned how to play a song on the guitar for a special occasion. I guess it worked because we're engaged now.

The only poems I've written were last second mash ups because I forgot to do them for an assignment.

I still remember them too, surprisingly.
