A british nurse committed sucide over a prank done by a radio station. The radio hosts used fake upper-class voices as they were patched through to the nurse, who relayed confidential details of Catherine's condition.

So flood your thoughts?

Either the nurse is completely pathetic or her death wasn't in response to falling for the prank call. Either way, the DJs are in no way responsible. Maybe the media should take some share of the blame for broadcasting the call to the entire planet.

I really could not see any reason for the nurse to kill herself. It was just a harmless joke, The duke and duchess did'nt seem to care about it anyway.

It was also a silly question. I failed to read the OP.

She was probably dealing with something else. I highly doubt it was something anyone would kill themselves over.

  • 12.08.2012 1:04 AM PDT

"My god... this woman has killed herself!!! What reason could she have to do this?"

"Well, she was prank called by two individuals yesterday who harmlessly pretended to be royalty and harmlessly inquired about Kate's condition at the hospital."

"The horror... It's the only logical conclusion! As if she has any psychological issues or anything, she's old."

  • 12.08.2012 2:33 AM PDT

I dont understand this.

Some dj's called her asked for the baby ( dj's pretended like they're royal) Then she suicide. Wtf logic.

For people still confused.

A pair of Aussie radio hosts prank called the hospital Kate was staying at and put on fake british accents impersonating the queen and her husband.

The stupid nurses didnt notice the horrible fake accents and gave them information about kates wellbeing and current state(no sensitive information.

The radio hosts then hung up and aired the show on aussie radio, it then went viral and by coincedence or maybe not the same nurse was found to have committed suicide.

And we know that that was the only reason how?

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

I think this prank probably pushed her over the edge and she committed suicide, because the Prince and Princess weren't even mad. No confidential stuff was let out.

My question is how the hell is it so easy to get that information. You think there would be a password to get that info

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

Dat sentence structure. Is this real life?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Why would someone kill themselves because someone asked about how someone was feeling?

  • 12.08.2012 6:49 AM PDT

The sublime is disappointingly elusive.

I really want to know what exactly was said during this prank, because right now, that nurse is looking awfully silly.

I'm saying that she probably had other problems and also, who knows maybe she was so embarrassed that she killed herself.

Why she feel embarrassed, that is the dumbest thing I ever heard.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

She was duped into disclosing personal information about the Duchess of Cambridge, our future queen. I know that anti-monarchism is a bit of a fad in these parts, but to many people such an incident would be deeply embarrassing.

This, and old. Yes the royals are a big deal in England, but a prank call should not make her suicidal.

Also I believe that this has been the royal hospital for 150 something years (I'm American so I don't know for sure) and the fact that everyone has heard this prank call is definitely embarrassing, I don't care what you say.

imagine over 1 million people knowing about a semi-big mistake you made and then all major news organizations covering the story.
