Expecting flawless products is unrealistic, and it always lead to dissapointment.
>game turns out to be a -blam!- sellout which plays nothing like the original
Please tell me how is that my fault?
It's your fault for having an asinine perspective on how the game plays, vs. what features are represented. The game plays like Halo (strafe shooter, lots of health, golden triangle of guns, nades and melee), and now it has different features (AA, Ordinance Drops, custom loadouts, none of which defines a fight's outcome). The game is the same in the same sense that you would never, ever say that Halo and Call of Duty are the same game, even if you stripped away the custom loadouts and other features. They are fundamentally different. Branching gameplay changes is inevitable, and 11 years later, you mean to honestly tell me you thought the branching features would remain true to the original Halo? If you didn't like the game, fine, but at least know what you're talking about when you come up with the reasons for why you don't like it.

The Flood might aswell be renamed The Halo 4 hate forum.
It's a god damn embarassment is what it is. As soon as Bungie left, I knew that the Bungie forumers were gonna act like this. Not liking it is one thing, I don't like everything about Halo 4 either, but the zealous, burning hatred that these people have for Halo 4 is pathetic. Reeks of fanboyism, or else people who are totally blind to the reasons behind certain elements in the game (like the campaign somehow being confusing even though a ten year old down the street from my house figured it out and he never read the books).
