There may be a thread about this already but I didn't see one in the first several pages so here goes. For Halo 3, Bungie should really make it dedicated servers. That way everyone has an equal chance for winning because there's no host advantage. Also, with server options, also change up the way Matchmaking is. It should still include finding random players to pit you with or against like it does now, besides your party of course, but I think people would be much more satisfied if you could really pick what you want to play. You should be able to choose what map you want to play, what kind of weapon options you want, what kind of gametype it is, and so on. The options shouldn't be too specific, otherwise it would probably take forever to find a game, but just the basics of choosing the map, gametype, starting weapon, and weapons on map. Essentially it would make Matchmaking similar to customs, but still with the fun of playing new random people.

Too bad all these morons go "DOOD LYK DEDICATED SURVURS ARE DUUUUUUM"
Bungies gonna make more than maybe 70Mill off this game. DCs don't cost a mill, so they can afford ALOT.

I got another idea!
How about no ranks or hidden ranks so people wouldn't take it so seriously or even -GASP- cheat!

I'd have to agree, why can't bungie, or even microsoft just start some dedicated servers. Halo 2 is what started about half of xbox lives total users, it is most likely the biggest game on xbox live right now, and has been since its launch. So, why can't they give the biggest franchise on xbox its own servers? What makes our live cost 50 dollars a year anyway, hubs?
