You could sit there for months and the room would never fill up on its own. You have to spam everyone on your friends list, that is if there are even enough people to start a game. It's two in the morning here...I have one friend online. Yeah, it's easy, isn't it?

Well its a bit hard to play a game when no ones online, maybe you need some more friends... or try playing when they're awake... that just might help. or if you played a good game on matchmaking with good people, send em all a party invite and play as a team for some games or set up your own, its pretty fun.

Dont rent because it doesn't start the renting process until like 5 weeks after release.

If you approach the game like a piece of meat you are inspecting to see if you might have fun, then you won't have fun at all. Go ahead and rent the game, I dont want to see your pessimistic ass on halo 3 anyways.

You should rent first before you buy. I know it costs more, but it will save frustration. You don't know how many people returned H2 to the store.

I'll barrow it from a friend and try it out to see if it's any good. If it sucks, I'll have saved myself the 50 or 60 bucks it'll cost.

So I should have to wait till some wake up? If there was a server browser I could play what I wanted when I wanted.

There were quite a few. I saw thread after thread about it when Halo 2 first came out. I remember one guy selling his copy on Ebay for $5 like a week after the game came out just to prove a point. Halo 2 is a good example of a potentially good game that got rushed. Let's hope they don't rush Halo 3. They are trying to act like it isn't being rushed, but some of the things I hear tells me they already have a specific release date in mind.

To play or not to play....

Buy almost without a doubt.

From what bits and pieces i have seen so far the game looks AWESOME. Though the proof will be very much how the game ends up being like when I actually play it.

I enjoyed Halo, loved Halo 2 so I am just a bit more than a little confident that Halo 3 will rock the planet.

Heck if worse comes to worse you can take it bake for a store credit or refund. Though I doubt you ever will :)))))...

You face an opponent who has never known defeat, who laughs in foreign tongues at your efforts to survive. This is Reply suicide.

"Oh Molly Connoly ruined my life, I thought the world should know."

You rent it if you want to (If you like it, instead of paying $60, you just paid like $66.) but I'm buying it!

If you hate the game after you buy it, give it to a pawn shop or sell it to a friend.

That's what I do with EXCEPTIONALLY crappy games.

I'll be renting it, I just have to many bad memories fro mthe shock of seeing an overwhelmingly half assed halo 2. Sorry man the heavy hit boxes and all of those filled in cutscenes made the whole game feel really uncomplete. But what I really plan on doing is just checking multiplayer over to see if the game either has an option to self induce reduced auto aim or if auto aim in general has been dropped from halo 2.

As really the only thing making halo 2 redemmable is knowing that on PC it won't have as much auto aim as "aim assist" doesn't cut it for people on PCs.

Think I'll just wait to hear what others have to say about it first. Within 24 hours people were talking about the flaws of Halo 2. Flaws that still ring true today. One thing that will be a deal breaker for me is if they have no server browser. Custom games are a pain to set up. If they only have this same matchmaking system and custom games, I won't buy it.

I like what he had to say. Just wait it out, see what everyone has to say about it, then check it out for yourself.

I am 100% sure I will be buying it at midnight. I don't care how many people say Halo 2 was "rushed" or "half-assed", I think it is an excellent game, and I'm sure Halo 3 will follow in the footsteps of it's predecessors, and will kick ass.
