Subject: To those of you who do not own your own home/apt.

What are these first person words you speak of?

How eager are you to move out of your current situation, and into your own house or apartment?

Also, for those of you who already own a house, or live in an apartment, do you have any tips for others?

"Life is constantly fleeting from your grasp even from the very day it's bestowed upon you, but the shadow of death is always there, waiting for its chance to take you away."

"Even though many may not think so, ignorance and innocence are one and the same. The only difference is that one sounds nicer."

"I once knew a man who spent his entire life contemplating where we go after our death....it's a shame he realized it a second too late to tell anyone."

I'll enjoy having the privacy of my own home, I can say that much.

Gather around the campfire, once it goes out, it's out for good.

If I were to move into an apartment, I'd be very excited.
If I were to move into a new home, I'd want to shoot myself.

If there is anything to look forward to, it's probably that.

I felt the same way until I stated spending 90% of what I make on rent.

I'd very much like to leave, but I don't have the money. It'll be hard to get because I'd only be able to get a part-time job while going to college.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

You have no idea. I'm dying to get out of here, to have my own place, but that may never happen.

This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

I'm renting, so technically I don't own my own apartment.

Nope.
I want to live with my parents because I feel safe this way.
How can I get goodnight hugs when I'm away from them? ;_;

I never said anything about the costs, I know that'll probably be a b*tch, but the privacy still seems nice.

Stay with your parents. It's cheaper.

my husband and I are currently renting a home. we decided to rent a house rather than apartment because we wanted a backyard, a large garage, and no loud neighbors above/below/next to us.

moving into a house was the best decision ever!

You're either first or you're last.

You'll never amount to anything, go back under your bridge.

Wow, that's pretty much the exact opposite of what I would do.

OT: Being off renting places for uni, I'm pretty used to living on my own. I'd love to have a sick house, but that's a bit down the road from where I am.

  • 12.08.2012 8:28 PM PDT

I would beyond adore being able to move out on my own or in with a friend.

Unfortunately, I'm only 17 and still in High School.
