I think you understood me wrong. I'm not saying sex is only to reproduce, I'm saying sex is to reproduce and ALSO for two people who truly love each other to enjoy themselves together.

Additionally, it's can be good fun regardless of whether or not you 'love' the other person(s) involved.

Yes but see if our perception of it is "just good fun" once your married as well what stops you from cheating? I mean its just good fun right?

What is stopping someone from doing it is their word to themselves and their partner that they will remain loyal to their partner.

You are attempting to argue that people with a more active past are less likely to stay in committed relationships. Where are your numbers to back this? Where is a renown psychologist agreeing with you? They don't because it's not true.

Fact: Many people are more active as young adults than the rest of their lives. Many people are able to find "the one" despite an active past.

You are making generalizations with nothing to back them up.

Women are basically worse than men in a lot of scenarios. Physiologically and mentally. Also, a woman who has a lot of boyfriends is usually a slut. Take that for what you will. And women who engage in casual relationships get no respect.

This is basically the kind of thinking that created unequal societies (many of which still exist to this day) and the persecution of innocent people.

No where in your post did you say it was wrong for a man to do it. You just went on about how it's bad form for women.

Why do I have to when the thread is about women?

For one, you claim women are weaker psychologically as well as physically.

AKA: "Women are inferior" dressed in politically-correct garment.

In the end they could just avoid all of this by not dressing up and asking for it.
Wow.

Just wow.

If a woman exposes -blam!- parts of her body and doesn't expect to get a reaction from men, then she's an idiot.

Even still, it is a drastic jump to go from that to, "She is totally asking for it."

Many women like attention. Many men do as well. Men wear clothing that emphasizes their muscles but no one says a word on that.

Actually she is. I know enough girls who have enough sense to cover up their cleavage if they don't want people to look at it. Also, when men do that, they don lie about the fact that they want attention. Women on the other hand get offended either because they get attention from someone they don't want it from or are too dumb to realize what they're doing.

This, you don't see men showing off their muscles getting offended when someone notices or acknowledges it. (i also think when women do this they are just trying to gather even more attention)

Imagine if a woman is covered up to her ankles and to her wrists but there is a cut out where her chest is and you can clearly see her cleavage and she asks to herself why are people staring there. LOL

"Actually she is." Followed by completely anecdotal evidence. Nice one.

More on-topic, many women do it to show off. It does NOT mean they are looking to bang the first guy who compliments them. You do not seem to understand that people enjoy showing off or giving themselves a confidence boost.

Because it's socially acceptable for guys to flaunt themselves around the world. Why is it not acceptable for women to do it? Because of people like you. Just sayin'.

Ugh.
I'm not the one making claims that active individuals are less likely to remain in committed relationships later in life.

Not my point. She should still expect what's going to happen. And most of the time, it's to attract people.

And she DOES know it's going to happen. Women who get offended are simply playing that card because they can.

What I am saying is that most women do it to get attention to boost their own confidence/feel good. If an attractive female was ogling a male that guy is going to feel pretty good about himself. The same thing the other way around.

It's funny because you guys are like "men do it to, we don have equality" but when someone gives a good plain example of how the two genders react differently to things naturally you just shrug it off. You could also easily say a muscular man is not going to bang a old lady who compliments him, but hes not going to be angry about it, he's probably going to be flattered. If a fat nerd compliments a women showing stuff off, shes probably going to act disgusted, but still get a confidence boost the same way the muscle man'd does.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

No, it's not my business, do as you wish.

Just don't let variables get in the way and end up doing something that you'll regret.

And you know that.. how? Not ever guy is going to act the same way just because of his gender, same with a girl. Everybody reacts to things differently, gender got nothing to do with that.

From the moment Bob's birth-cord was cut, every girl's hymen has belonged to him.

There must have been a dildo in that Wii control they found
For when they shoved it up his ass, he began to walk around, aaand
Chad Warden the fanboy, was as ABAP as can be
But the -blam!-es say, that he was mad -blam!-, and talked -blam!- on PS3

inferior, just by nature

That's weird, because I was under the impression that we live in a world where different genders are socialized radically differently, therefore meaning that differences between them are not necessarily the result of natural variation between the two.

Its also incrediably obvious.

  • 12.08.2012 9:17 PM PDT

Here is what I think. It is much harder for a very pretty girl to be taken seriously. Since whenever she is looked at most people just get a sexxual image in their head.
