"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

Y'know, when playing Slayer or Deathmatch and whatever, and wrecking the other team. There's not really a "competitive" element, actually -- you (and/or your team) are just much better than the other players, there were no harsh words exchanged, you just wiped the floor with them, rinse and repeat.

'Cause we've probably all been there from time to time (or often), being with the tables turned and getting steamrolled -- it's usually not much fun.

Well, when you're the one(s) dishing out the hurt, do you ever feel slightly sad for the other miserable strangers? Just wondering if it's just me.

I've got a fan!

Eh, not really. It's just a video game; everyone takes turns getting their ass handed to them.

It's either them or us.

I like Halo: Reach. I think its a fun game. What i DON'T like about it is that the maps such as SwordBase is terrible. I don't hate armor lock, but i can say it can sometimes get annoying. Bloom doesn't bother me either.

No. Muahahahahaha!

I kill and slaughter the enemy and don't feel sorry for them at all.

GAAAAYYY

Your compassion for the enemy has blinded you.

I have apologized a couple times, but I don't say stuff like a dick. I try to be casual and say stuff like "I'm sorry, it's the games fault we had to fight. Hope you have a better day and get matched with players closer to your skill". I'm I'm on the receiving end I do two of things. 1 I rage at the game from not finding a fair game, especially if the team is full of dicks. And 2 call it a good game and choose to HLG for the rest of the game whilst teammates die.

Make a thread saying you will counter any argument against armor lock...

Then respond with Adapt.

Although, thats more because it had me invade level 40s with my 120...

I don't like steamrolling people in starcraft, because it feels like a waste of my time. I don't feel as bad in fps, since it gives me multikills that I've been chasing always.

I cannot stand destroying people. I like games where it is neck to neck the whole time. When my team destroyed because the opposing players are lacking skill I don't enjoy the game. It's a bad game overall and don't want people to think its their fault. I mention stuff like the game not a me to properly set up skill levels and how we should have never ben paired against each other.

To put it simple : I am a casual too, I don't like it when I'm treated like crap so I try not to treat others like crap.

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

Eh, it's a game. I try to show sportsmanship, at the very least. Can't stand people who flaunt what they've got (given that what they've got isn't good to look at for everyone involved).

  • 12.09.2012 12:11 AM PDT

I'd rather play a challenging game than roflstomping people who can't coordinate (usually).

  • 12.09.2012 12:13 AM PDT

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Yeah, i feel bad for them. When it gets to the point where they can't even get a kill and they are dying over and over again, i usually just run around the map and try not to die myself, instead of hunting them out and boosting my k/d. I've been there before and i know it wasn't fun, so i'd like to think that im getting some good karma by not being a dick.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

Well when there's only like one or two guys on the other team, I just leave the game because I know its gonna be so boring just killing bots.
