Bungie's Halo Games
In the original Halo games Master Chief was a very quiet character who talked when he needed to. This was done in order to keep him as undeveloped as possible, allowing the player to more easily feel like they were Master Chief, and not just controlling him.

The Halo 4 Chief is much better. The thing you just said is possibly the lamest excuse that Bungie could ever come up with for not developing a character.
You're not the Chief no matter how underdeveloped the character is, even if you think he wasn't developed enough just so you can pretend to be the Chief.

The world is not beautiful: And that, in a way, lends it a sort of beauty.

~Kino's Journey

You can't even call chief a character(even after halo 4), he's just a moveable camera that can hold weapons and die.

I can't make the same arguments or assumptions as some because I have and probably will not play Halo 4, the series itself has lost the luster that it had in the first place.

Halo was supposed to be the vanguard of the old arena shooters, but one that could be played out in a large map setting. Now, it's felt the effects of time and the Call of Duty influence. Rather than striving to make a product all their own, they've bowed to the pressure that the market has placed on them.

I remember a time back when I didn't have to worry or even notice my bullet spread. My battle plan was to go in with a BR and some sort of power weapon, rather than use the most efficient build to find my way to the next random power weapon spawn point.

I can complain about change all I want, but I hope that something is reclaimed here. Soon enough, the Halo 3 servers will be cut and we'll be without the Halo that used to be. I just depressed myself a lot here.

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

Well, seeing as that was their intention through th entire process I'd say it's a pretty good explanation. People seemed to like being Chief just fine.

Your analogy doesn't work because I can do so much more with a Mac than I can with Windows (which is what I assume you mean when you say PC). OS X is POSIX complaint, has a more reliable system (one component of the OS crashing does not cause a kernel panic/blue screen), provides a better multiuser environment, and more.

So, it doesn't just look better; it has more functionality and is, therefore, better.

Where's your argument? I'm not saying Windows is awful, but *nix systems poop on it all day long.

Why? It doesn't take a lot of brain power to put together a paragraph.

If you're not here for discussion, why are you here?

Everyone likes Macs and they are clearly the better system, despite costing you far more in the end when you have to buy all of those accessories that are essential to your machine. If you like the PC over the Mac you are stupid and don't understand the beauty of the Mac. You wouldn't get it, it's a Mac thing you stupid PC elitist.

tldr; Halo vs. Halo 4 = PC vs. Mac

I respected you and agreed up until the Mac Vs. PC thing.

It also made me wonder it you were trolling. Everyone knows Apple Vs. threads will cause a -blam!-storm.
