T4R

I've been looking specifically at Red Dead Redemption and the Batman games, so any thoughts/opinions on these would be appreciated, but other suggestions are also welcome.

Help me by narrowing it down a bit. What are you looking for; PC, Xbox? FPS, RPG? Do you care about age?

Age, relatively recent. It's for Xbox, and games with replay value and extensive play time would be best, but just generally good games in general.

If you're a zombie and you know it, bite your friends.

The Flood Theory of Deterioration: q(p)=(qi)e^(-p/r)

Where q(p) is the quality of the thread as a function of p posts, (qi) is the inital quality of the first post, p is the amount of posts and r is the e-peen of the original poster.

I'd recommend both the Batman Arkham games if you haven't played them. Red Dead Redemption as well.

If you haven't played it, I'd also suggest Singularity and Spec Ops: The Line. Both were surprisingly good.

Red Dead is an excellent game, and well worth a playthrough or two.

Both Arkham City and Asylum are some of the best games I've ever played, get them both.

Spec Ops: The Line has mediocre gameplay, but still entertaining. The story is incredible. Rent this one.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is fantastic. The best story in any game I've played.

Other recommendations:
Hitman: Absolution
Max Payne 3
Dishonored

The human element always mucks things up.

Arkham City is 999999999999x better than Asylum and RDR is as fun as chewing a bag of razor blades.
