Those damn Steam Sales get you every time. You go in saying "You won't get me again this time, Gaben!" then you end up spending $100 and double your library, only to never play any of them anyway.

I know how you feel, so far this year though, been steering pretty clear. I've only bought about 20 games in 2012.

Summer sales killed my wallet, but I managed to escape the Thanksgiving sales with only two purchases.

Precisely the reason I've ditched half my backlog. I know I'll never finish most of them. So I'm just focusing on a few right now.

"I won't buy any games this sale."
"Hey, that game I was kinda interested in maybe playing eventually is 75% off! Still not buying it, I have a huge backlog right now."
"Oh wow, everything is like $2.50! I could probably play two of these over the weekend."
"...and one of these, and two copies of this, and one of these for a friend, and I only really want two games from this pack but it's so cheap, why not?"
"I can either eat tonight, or buy this brand new game for 66% off. Eh, I wasn't that hungry to begin with."
"Please, mister, find kindness in your heart for a poor college student down on his luck! I'll even work for a package of crackers, just anything, please!"

Every. Damn. Time.

Im sure I could beat half the games in my backlog if I could stop playing Isaac. Its seriously becoming a problem now.

I've only played a little of the first level, but my friend loves the game and recommended it to me so I'm sure its really good. I need to set aside some time and play through it.
