I'd wager it's far more dangerous to drive a car every day than it is too smoke, but you don't see car dealerships putting pictures of gruesome accidents in the car when they sell it to you.
Both can be lethal, both are voluntary. Leave them be.
The only time accidents happen is usually when people are stupid enough to drink and drive, drive in harsh weather, drive while sleepy, and drive and text. Car accidents hardly ever happen randomly because people are educated in driving schools before given the ability to drive. And people knowing all the dangers you just listed, still go out and drink and drive, they still drive when sleepy, and people still use their phones while driving, not to mention shaving, putting make-up on, reading, drinking coffee, eating, changing clothes, and a myriad of other distracting behaviours.
And it's the same with smoking. People know the risks of smoking, they know of lung cancer, throat cancer, emphysema, the bad smells, the loss of money from buying it and people still smoke.
People are going to do what they want to do, even if they know that it can possibly be dangerous and lethal, because they still want to do it.
