It changed.

Far Cry 2 was pretty horrid. Never exactly liked it. Well at all.

But Far Cry 3. What. A. Game.
If you haven't played it yet, you really don't know the definition of insanity. By the way, did I ever tell you the definition... Of insanity?

Imagine skydiving into unsuspected territory and end up being sold to slavery in a flash. Think about what It's like to first kill someone. Now skip to days and weeks afterwards. You become a warrior of the jungle.

Pretty sick right? It's basically a true simulation of survival. But maybe you could get a little bit too used to it.

The animations, voice acting, and features are "top-notch gear you're gonna want". You thought jumping over a bench in Battlefield 3 was cool? You have no idea. Crazy storyline, a crazy and awesome antagonist, and you're crazy self.

Discuss what you like most about Far Cry 3.

Oh and did I ever tell you the definition... Of insanity?

What? People read these?

I haven't played it, but Vaas looks one of the best villains of all time.

I'm going to get it once I'm done with Dark Souls, Far cry 2, and BlOps 2.

I'm supposed to be getting it, but I have no car and the nearest game store is 10 miles away.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Dishonored is better. I have yet to kill someone.

I have only heard positive things about Far Cry 3 and I really want to get it but I don't have any mony because of Blops 2 Season Pass, BF3 Season Pass and I pre ordered Colonial Marines. I have 150 euro left but that's for Steam Winter Sale lol.

"You are the last of your kind: bred for combat, built for war. You're the master of any weapon, pilot of any vehicle, and fear no enemy"

Yes, because Halo didn't change. At all.

Yeah it went a bit quick, but the exploration and Easter eggs are downright freaking awesome.

I haven't gotten Far Cry 3 yet, but Far Cry 2 wasn't bad, it was just unpolished and poor implementation.

I agree, Far Cry 2 had the right idea, but it messed up in a lot of areas that made the game hard to play.

With them malaria and medicine. they had an interesting idea, but it hampered the actual gameplay. This is one of the smaller problems though, and I would've still enjoyed the game if this was in it, as long as they fixed the other issues. With respawning enemies: This was horrible, there were some instances where you'd take out an outpost, only to have the enemies respawn 60 seconds later. It was annoying, and it made the game really tedious.

Underneath all these, and other, problems, was a tense game about survival. It had a lot of potential, but its other problems hampered it.
