Well, whenever I've gone into an argument against a halo 4 supporter they end with these eleven words:
If you do not like it, then do not play it.
Well, with the population curve looking something like this, it would seem that either of these scenarios are in effect.
A: That people who had these very much valid complaints left the game because they were told take it or leave it.
or
B: That people came to the conclusion that the game isn't fun nor salvageable even with a title update and decided to move on to something better.
That would put the reminding players of halo 4 those who are really devout and those who are waiting for the game they really want becomes accessible either by release or an improved financial situation. A mere quarter of the people who bought the game.
