That statement is false, stupid and just plain arrogant.

No it's not. If I were playing violent video games all of my life since I was eight, then it's quite possible I'd want to do that stuff in real life. It's been proven before.

I've been playing violent video games since I was 5, I'm not violent at all.

Obvious troll is obvious.

Video Games dont cause violence. Its scientifically proven.

I had a very similar thing, only I threw a 14 story building out of a pool and hit a kid on a paper aeroplane.

The Flood is just this awesome :D

Studies have actually shown video games are an outlet to violence. Feeling pissed because a bully took your favorite pencil? Play some CoD and let out all your anger into the virtual enemy.

My Screenshots / My Group / Remember to follow the rules or you will get trapped in a box.

The statement ridiculous. If a video game inspired someone to be violent then they already had problems before they played video games. Also, what about war movies? They are still violent and yet people don't complain about them.

AIR, WATER, AND FOOD CAUSE VIOLENCE.
ALL SERIAL KILLERS CONSUMED WATER AND FOOD AND BREATHED AIR.
WE NEED TO BAN ALL THREE!

It desensitizes people of violence.

No it doesn't. I've been playing video games since I was a child and video game blood and gore will NEVER compare to blood and gore in real life. I get sick to my stomach when I see IRL blood and gore. Same goes for war. I know that I will never even make it for 5 minutes in an actual battlefield compared to a video game.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

I don't agree much.

Rather, I think video games can possibly, albeit only slightly, exacerbate existing underlying "instabilities", I suppose. I bet acts of violence supposedly linked to video games would probably have manifested even without the video games.

Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

It desensitizes people of violence.

So do violent TV shows.

And real life happenings.

To be honest, they can. But it would be in only a few cases, ones in which the people would probably still be violent without video games. And it's not like they cause violence in every single person who plays them.

You look around. You fire your weapon before you realize.
Its just me. I fall and you walk up. You cry why.
When i pop up. You look at me in wonder. I say,"ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL."
You bend to my will and go to a cliff, walk off, and fall.
The last thing you hear is me stating as fact,"All will fail the battle of life, you just went early"

You mean, like I have? I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember and the last thing I would ever do is get violent.

And "proven before"? Where is this "proof". I have yet to see anything substantial to even begin to prove video games cause violence.

Yup. But you participate in it in a video game.

Doesn't mean I'd advocate violence IRL.

Violence IRL is much more disturbing than that in media.

Bull spit. The blood and gore in games won't compare to real life, but you get used to the shooting and mild displays of blood. If you can see 3D images of people getting their heads blown off, you won't mind a few fights or bad accidents in real life.

I actually would react the same as a person who has never played video games before. Watching videos of soldiers in the middle east, I cringe whenever someone gets shot. I probably would do a lot worse if I was in real life.

I avoid blood and gore IRL, I'm squeamish.

Step forward"

I'm not really squeamish anymore thanks to movies, games, and even IRL.

Ever seen a guy get shot in the head right in front of your house while you're watching?
