For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

Ran into a fan on the street wearing the Haiti shirt while I had mine on. Heads were nodded, and a brofist was also involved. Easily, my favorite Bungie related memory.

I'll get the occasional thumbs up from someone but i tend not to be around gamers in real life.

Yeah, my buninja hoodie.

That's quite awesome, actually. Unfortunately nobody around where I live goes outside so these occasions would be few and far between.

Almost pulled the trigger on a Destiny shirt, but I figured I'd wait until I know what the actual game is about before buying its merchandise.

It would be like me expecting any of you to know what the 2015 Mustang is going to be.
Its going to be a more modern design and styling based around the evo-concept, but keeping with the current popular stylings people can reference.
It will be offered with an I4 ecoboost, a V6 (possibly with ecoboost) and of course, the classic V8.
It will also come with an IRS (independent rear suspension). Something not seen on a mustang since the 1990's cobras....

What? I'm a gearhead first, and a loyal Bungie meat-sack second.

"10000?"

Not once.

Hi I'm RT and I like to argue!

Nope. But I haven't worn them much lately, to be honest. Not intentionally, mind you.

Maybe I should.

Yep, at a SW/movie convention. The guy who recognized it was in charge of some arcade tournament there and asked me if I wanted a spot. I passed because my sis had tagged along and I figured that she didnt want to spend all day there. Well, turns out that I was the first one who wanted to leave.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Hmm.

I remember some customer recognizing a Halo CE shirt I was wearing years and years ago.

I remember someone in the Halo 2 Midnight Release line recognizing my Halo 2 shirt, and commenting on it. I think they had the same shirt on at the time.

I currently only have one Bungie related piece of clothing, and no one has even given it a second look. Though its kinda obscure, only the forum users would recognize it. I don't think I've ever knowingly encountered another forum user period, much less while wearing Bungie paraphernalia.

That's cool, how do you know he actually recognized it?

What's up? You can call me Phil. I love to play Battlefield 3!

Nope, I have a 7th column t-shirt so it's a little harder to recognize than say a Halo or "splatter" t-shirt.

I'm trying to become an '04, but it's not working too well."

A few months ago wearing my Bungie Baseball T, ran into an employee of Rockstar at a local bar. He said he worked on Red Dead and Midnight Club. Taken with a grain of salt, it's very believable as there's a rockstar building two exits down on the freeway.

Also had a few customers notice at work today, too. Coworker asked if they're coming out with a new game... lol!

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

Summer 2011, there was a security guy in one part of the red room, and he noticed my Bungie Aerospace shirt. Asked if I knew anything about it. I didn't. End of story.

Nope. And I have a couple. Looks like there aren't too many hardcore fans in central Kansas. :(

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

No one comments on my Bungie man-thong :(

I remember him pointing at my shirt, then pointing at his shirt, which I think was exactly the same shirt I had on. I remember him saying something about it, but I don't remember what that was. I can barely remember last week, much less 8 years ago.

I wore my FWC shirt to PAX 2011 (before we were selling them) and had a few people recognize it from fan sites. It was a fun way to pick serious fans out of the crowd.

That hurt my feelings. :( After all I've done for you, and you wont even recognize our time together.

Truly serious fans would recognize YOU, not your shirt. And that's when things get scary :-)

On the topic of shirts: yes, it actually happens fairly frequently. The funniest experience was when somebody saw my Bungie shirt and said "Hey! I work at Bungie too!" and I had to tell them that I was not an employee. Then he said "Oh... so you USED to be an employee?" And I said no, I didn't used to be an employee either. And so he said "Oh... so you just have the shirt" and I said "uh huh" because it was 7 in the morning and I couldn't think of anything wittier to say. Then we spent the rest of the elevator ride in incredibly awkward silence.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Someone recognized my Bungie hoodie fairly recently. Then some people commented on it at the Halo 4 launch but that doesn't really count.

The "See You Starside" one (I think that's its name) - it's the one with the Destiny logo on the shoulder.
