Subject: Halo 4: Why was Captain Del Rio so mean?

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

I played Halo 4, and I had my feelings hurt. Why is Captain Del Rio such a jerk? Does he hate spartans and hot AIs? Was he abused as a child? Tell me Flood.

Your average nice guy on The Flood.... D: ..... WAIT A MINUTE....

Forced melodrama.

My troll sense is tingling.

A master chef killed his parents and due to his dyslexia he thought it was a master chief. He has blamed them ever since. It's tragic, really.

Unto the Fray we go

I'm guessing he's just a little too committed to his orders

Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

He didn't exactly plan on fighting robots and fighting ancient evils.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

Because his sex drive is smaller than Chief's.

He was a manager, not a leader, and felt that his authority was threatened in the presence of such a legendary leader as the Chief.

We should know better, because we are better.

Because he wanted to play it safe and not be heroic. Really, Del Rio was the most reasonable person on the bridge. Everyone just disagreed with him. He wasn't that bad.

This makes the most sense story wise. In all honestly, it was just to have someone to drive the story in a certain direction. What other reason would there be to go after the Didact single-handedly? The Infinity could have beaten the Didact easily. It would not have been a good story if the game finished half way through with no real buildup.

Blind halo 4 haters even in this thread? I predict this will become an argument over angry fanboys over why halo 4 sucks or is good.

Who's being a Halo 4 hater?
