I was looking for audio for the original languages of the Bible. I've heard the Quran a billion times but I wanted to compare how they sound. And if I could find any similarities in the recitations. A lot of times we can learn some of the language by understanding their respective books.

Part of Genesis in Hebrew

part of John's Gospel in Greek

For the Quran

chapter 53

part of chapter 7

Quran is not poetry but is very rhythmic. I honestly don't think there is a comparision.

This is not a religious discussion. Please listen to the audios and say what you think based on what you hear.

"Life is constantly fleeting from your grasp even from the very day it's bestowed upon you, but the shadow of death is always there, waiting for its chance to take you away."

"Even though many may not think so, ignorance and innocence are one and the same. The only difference is that one sounds nicer."

"I once knew a man who spent his entire life contemplating where we go after our death....it's a shame he realized it a second too late to tell anyone."

Ehhhh, don't put a bible near me...well, I don't care if it's near me, just don't make me read or listen to it. It causes me physical pain.

...you think i'm kidding? I'm not in the least bit. My girlfriend tried reading a portion of it to me one night while I was over, I ended up half conscious with a headache about five or ten minutes later.

Which one gave you a headache? Was it the person's voice?

No, the words being read. Same thing happened to me when I was a kid, except i'd always start crying.

And I don't remember which version it was...that portion of the night isn't too clear since, like I said, I was only half conscious.

Am I familiar with those languages? Not really, i'm restricted to English and a very small amount of German for the time being. :/

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

Omg guys True Deception is like a demon cause he gets headaches from the Bible. He must be really evil and cold and great.

Not biased at all being an Arab and a Muslim lol but I find the Quran to be soothing when listening to it. It's not music though as some people confuse it to be.
