Firefight

Team Firefight - Competitive game type consisting of two teams of four players battling out for points and multiplier bonuses. This is in the midst of the covenant and prometheans battling against each other and the players participating.
Nothing can stop the opposing team killing each other aswell. It is said by an anonymous tester once in awhile, a special covenant or promethean appears which have overshields, damage multiplier powerups which serve as bosses. These are worth the most points and appear on players hud in game. The music is said to intensify and the special enemy can take alot of beating.
Classic Firefight - This is classic firefight with upto four players, limited lives and each round gets progressively harder as usual. The anonymous tester has stated the new firefight mode will come with 5 new firefight maps.
FFA Firefight - This places eight players to score as many points while confronting opposing players. The gameplay element of this mode is the score multiplier. Each time you kill the opposing player or enemy your multiplier increases thus the more points you earn. The catch is if you are killed by another player or AI your multiplier resets. The player with the highest multiplier appears on players hud.
Flood World - This is the most ambitious mode of all. The anonymous tester has described it as a dayZ experience the popular PC mod. 16 Players are dropped into a map that is supposedly three times the size of forgeworld. Each player start out with just a magnum and also have limited lives. The players can work as a team or salvage and fight for weapons and upgrades. Dotted around the huge map are safehouses which players must take over.
The base will provide players a source of ammunation and some new weaponary to purchase along with armour abilities and vehicles at a cost. Each base has a resources count. Players who purchase weapons, vehicles or armour abilities result to the deduction from the overall resources count. Resources stash can be mined throughout the huge map.The anonymous beta tester said resources appear on the mini map and in gameplay look like piles of junk.
You can carry a certain amount of resources and if you die before you bring back the resources you lose it all. As the name suggests flood are back. All previous flood species are back along with new ones. The anonymous beta tester has said the flood are revamped and look very different then the ones we have seen. It is said the longer the players survive the more difficult the flood gets and at one time the tester believed there were 30 or more on screen.
Players must work together to move from base to base to restock on ammo and weapons or travel to desolate caves and secret areas infested with flood to stock on more powerful weapons,resources and perks. You adjust your loadout on the fly along with some new modifications. Team work is essential to survival aswell as improving your safehouses. Safe houses can be upgraded with the turrets seen in dominion gamemode aswell as traps and barricades all which cost resources. Players can also denote resources to other players in need.

Flood World - No customization options.
Forge Firefight - This is the most ambitious from the custom games modes. Finally you are allowed to forge on the 5 firefight maps minus the flood world map. You are allowed to build houses or bases on the firefight maps and place spawn markers and entry markers. The anonymous tester had built a simple castle in one the maps near some water. The tester placed gates and AI spawn markers in front of them and adjusted each wave for different types of enemies to enter from different gates. Futhermore placed a kill barrier for players not to leave the forged map and have the firefight play out in the forged area only. The AI behaves with the new objects in place naturally climbs or goes around objects. But many of complex objects have been removed for more simple objects as blocks. Beta tester believes that it would be too complicated for the AI to behave with the objects of the current forge.
