Best writing for a video game I've encountered.

I used to be indecisive, but now i'm not sure.

Limbo or Journey.
Games that tell stories without cutscenes and through the environment interaction and visuals instead deserve quite a bit of praise.
Video games are after all, a visual and interactive form of entertainment.

What are these first person words you speak of?

Majora's Mask

On a serious note: This game. Fairly unique story, and amazing characters with just enough of those creepy feels to keep pushing you forward. Though, it's not much of a push since people typically want to continue.

That's narrative, story is the actual plot.

You're either first or you're last.

You'll never amount to anything, go back under your bridge.

I gotta go with the original BioShock. Wasn't as impressed by the 2nd one, unfortunately. I can't but be annoyed every time they said that adding multiplayer did not take away resources from the single player. Lies, all lies.

Hoping BioShock Infinite will be the game to end all games.

What a waste....

Bioshock was another good one.

I haven't played Shadow of the Colossus, but I've heard it's amazing.

For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but, in my opinion, Gears of War. I loved the campaign on every game. I actually replayed a bit of it with some friends today.

Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed Halo 3 and Oblivion.

The human element always mucks things up.

Bioshock because references.

I have every achievement for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach!

As has been said multiple times already, Halo 2 had an amazing story

I've always been a big fan of the story each Assassin's Creed game tells, but I especially liked Conner's story in ACIII

Half-Life 2 tells a great story, as well as Amnesia, Gears of War 3 and Splinter Cell Conviction

Off the top of my head, Portal 2.
