Well,
Its finally gotten to the point to where im going to rely on the Bungie community to determine what sexy beast is right for me.

Here are the ones that I have narrowed down to.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/iBuyPower+-+Desktop+-+8GB+Memory+ -+500GB+Hard+Drive+%2B+120GB+Solid+State+Drive/6979832.p?id=1 218818471402&skuId=6979832

And in this corner,

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Lenovo+-+IdeaCentre+Desktop+-+12G B+Memory+-+2TB+Hard+Drive/6963801.p?id=1218817527098&skuI d=6963801

I'm open to other suggestions within my price range.
($1,100$)

Red vs Blue Fan. Doc is the best!

Between those two, I would go with the Lenovo.

Why don;t you just go directly to the ibuypower or cyberpowerpc site and just customize your own

My PC Build
i7 990x Extreme Edition
Asus Rampage III Formula
2 x Radeon HD 6950 2gb
Antec 1200 Case
Patriot Viper Xtreme 2000 mhz 24 gb (6 x 4)
"Last Name ever, first name Greatest"

Please don't buy a prebuilt desktop. Especially an iBuyPower, Cyberpower, Alienware, or whatever.

Unless you're getting one of these. If so, prepare for orgasms every time you boot it up.

I would suggest building your own at ibuypower instead of getting that one. I dont know much about amd cards and dont really feel like looking and that gt 640 in the lenovo sucks.

I bought a prebuilt in order to get introduced to PC gaming easily. It is a good way of learning about the PC without having the pressure of making it all on your own the first time. Now I've changed cases, graphics cards, reapplied CPU coolant, and configured it the way I liked because of the base a prebuilt computer provided.

I'd recommend it for people new to PC gaming.

Of those two, the iBuyPower is better.

Better CPU, GPU, and a 120GB SSD.

I've been stuck with an ancient piece of hardware for too long (Xbox) and is finally not meeting my expectations (Halo 4 which is why I've decided to start getting in to PC gaming. I recently heard of something called planet side 2, and am willing to try it. But in the current condition of my 4 year old laptop I don't think ill be doing anything besides fapping.

They don't think it be like it is...

But it do.

The ibuypower is better BUT BE WARNED. That company has mixed reviews. 40% of their machines have issues if they even work when they come in the mail. Please, please get a warranty if you go with ibuypower. It will be worth the money. By issues I mean they sometimes jam parts into their places instead of being careful and the PCs occasionally arrive DOA.

If you really want to play it safe, then buy the lenovo and upgrade the graphics card later. You can upgrade a card even if you have no computer knowledge at all. I did it this past summer before I really got into PC's. Just be sure you visit the pinned PC thread before doing so. Hope this helps!

I would go to Newegg.com and just pick the parts myself

Warranties come standard on an ibuypower if you buy it from their site. I don't think there is even a way to remove the option of having a warranty. Also, Im not so sure about your 40% statement. Of course, if it were true, I would assume that the people that are unhappy are more likely to review them than people that havent had anything bad happen.

Of course it isn't THAT high, I just want him to know that there is a certain amount of risk involved with buying from iBuyPower.

BOTH OF THEM ARE PRETTY BAD. But of the to the iBuyPower is better. Just go watch a 1 hour youtube video on how to build a pc and you could build one twice as good for the same price.
