When you leave a restaurant that insists that you leave your plates and whatnot on the table when you decide to leave the restaurant, do you make an effort to clean your table, do you somewhat organize your mess, simply put the utensils on the plates, or do you simply put the money down and walk away?
Please explain why you choose to do so.
I'm not asking about tipping. That's an entirely different thing.
I work in a restaurant, and I've seen everything from a perfectly clean table, aside from a huge neatly organized stack of dishes and utensils, all the way to a table where you couldn't see the table, and there was a diaper on it.
