You know, anime/manga teaches us a lot of about these particular kinds of ethics. That's one reason why I enjoy watching anime.
I've never watched anime or manga. Actually, I watched Naruto for a little,and DBZ when I was younger. That's about it, plus, what do you mean by that?
manga/anime is focused on the story, character development, and themes. Through the storytelling and unraveling of characters (protagonists, etc), social ethics and moral values are "taught" or stressed in the animes in order to: prove points, make the right choices, how to live a life you otherwise wouldn't regret, make others happy (reduce suffering), etc.
For example, an ethic that is stressed (or "taught") in Naruto is that "hate breeds hate." It focuses on the process of understanding who you are as a person, how you relate to the other person, and how you can improve your own life by improving those of others.
I sort of went off a tangent there but in reality the concepts are intertwined with each other. It's very complex and compelling.
