Why are there not more people like you?

Would have been heroic if she really was depressed/suicidal. As another wise Floodian stated, she is an attention seeker and you got heavily played. That is, providing that the story is true. I see some lies. If you didn't want to seem like a 'superhero' why did you post here?

Finally someone asks.

It was intended not to make myself look superior, but to inspire or atleast make you think about just spreading your happiness to others, because you never know what or how you can help someone, intentionally or unintentionally. Plus she was severely depressed, a lot happened in her family that is nearly the worst thing I've heard

Sorry dude. I don't believe you. No disrespect.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

That is uplifting.

There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

I think you should have given her your number you silly goose.

This, but thank you OP for restoring my fragile hope in the human race. We need more like you.

What was this compliment you gave her?[/quote]

Her eyes were as beautiful as her smile.

Sounds to me as if you got lucky with that one.
Not to say it wasn't a nice thing to do, but if you hadn't ran into a nice girl, and said that to a stuck up 'I'm better than you' girl, she probably would've found it creepy and slapped you, instead of seeing that it was a nice, friendly compliment.

Does it really matter?

I'm just writing my thoughts, it's not relevent, but I was thinking that the likeliehood of someone taking a compliment as a compliment, and not a pickup line where I live are pretty slim.

Being in south Florida, I've never had a problem with things like that. I guess it has to do with the atmosphere. Idk lol

Ha ha lucky (as in the fact that you can give out compliments and the person takes it as just that) I enjoy being friendly, but as Xanarxses said, where I live, everything you say to a girl is, 'to get in her pants' so I never really have to opportunity to be friendly to a stranger.

It's cool bro, I'm not forcing you to believe me, and if you don't there's nothing I can really do about it

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

I'm not sure if I believe you either, if mostly because you bumped this thread from the grave. I can respect something like this, but at this point you're either attempting to gloat, or lying. I mean no offense by this, if it's true then good on you, but a good deed is just that. It's not that more people don't do things like this, it's that most people keep it to themselves. So I will say again, good on you if this is true, but the moment has passed.

yeah, it's annoying quite frankly. It's like we're horny beasts that want to stick it in everything that moves... xD

For those who wish to contact me on Xbox LIVE, my main account is "The 7th Taco", and the one linked with my profile here is only a backup.

BC! I haven't noticed you on the Flood in a long while! (Probably because I'm too lazy to read all the usernames). I love all your caring posts, man. That's such a great thing you did today. Good for you :)

If you've seen my threads from before, I like to respond to a lot of people. But I can see where your coming from.
