Subject: Is it possible to prove that there is no such thing as Vampires?

Mreh.

When was the last time we found someone with bite marks on their neck and with a complete lack of blood in the system? When was the last time someone burned to death in sunlight?

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

Well, I don't see anyone sparkling in the sun, so I don't think vampires exist.

Hahahahahahaha

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year

When's the last time you saw someone with claw marks who was partially eaten? Yet we know there are bears that occasionally attack and eat people. Yet I've never seen one in the wild, nor one of their victims.

"If practice makes perfect" and 'nobody's perfect,' then what's the point of practice?"

It's like I always say, "The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence."

Exactly, YOU haven't, plenty of other bastards with camera phones and a bad habit of throwing rocks at things they shouldn't sure as hell do!

What do you suppose myths are? Maybe an oral history that is hard to prove do to the scarcity of events.

They could be proven, but like most things, they couldn't be disproven.

Other way around.

Or maybe a myth is a fragging myth, a vampire could not exist under this worlds circumstances. Way to many mirrors, sun beams and not enough jobs that can let you go home before the sun comes up every day of the week.

I was wondering about this. If there was a shadow race of humans that fed on blood, would it be possible to them to hide in plain sight and avoid detection?

Could there be a race of blood suckers out there, who look like people who only go out at night? When we here about runaways and homeless people being found dead in parks, could they be food for the vampires?

What do you think? Were it possible that such a race existed, could they be proven or dis-proven?

Why do you think the Red Cross always needs so much blood?

We also cannot prove that MyNameisCharlie isn't a goat. We have some evidence, yes, like our observations of goats where they don't seem to be able to type on a computer or have very complex thoughts, but we still can't prove it.

Forensic examiners check for puncture wounds on a person who was found dead.

GOAT

What if Bigfoot was a vampire, so that's why people never see him during the day?

Yeah, that's not the way the world works.

Again, Burden of Proof.

If you were to claim you had no coins in your pockets, you would be able to prove whether this claim was correct or not by examining them. If you choose not to or are unable to for whatever reason to examine your pockets, you don't have a result for the claim, but not having a result does not mean you don't have any coins. It is a null result (AFAIK that's the correct terminology).

The Flood Theory of Deterioration: q(p)=(qi)e^(-p/r)

Where q(p) is the quality of the thread as a function of p posts, (qi) is the inital quality of the first post, p is the amount of posts and r is the e-peen of the original poster.

I see no one in this thread has heard of Cutaneous Porphyria.

What nutritional value does blood even have?
Well, it's got Iron, that's why it's red.
Does that have anything to do with rust being teh red?

Needs more bullet resistance and super healing.

Um, last time I checked, certain metals weren't exactly part of your balanced breakfast.

Well, it's got Iron, that's why it's red.
How Ironic.

Because breakfast cereals contain Iron, as do many other foods. Feel free to look it up on a cereal box, in the nutritional facts it should list a certain quantity of iron.
Ha. haha. hahaha. Hahahahahahahahaha!

OT: You can't really disprove anything that isn't a scientific law. Prove to me there's no population of intelligent beings living ~1 mile below the crust in, say, a remote part of Canada. Also, prove that your name is not Allison.
