I want you to imagine a Platypus. Don't search any pictures of a Platypus. Just let your mind relax and allow the Platypus to form in your inner eye. Imagine the way it swims, its movement. Imagine it idling a moment at the surface of a river. I want you to fully realise the Platypus.

Breath slowly and deeply. Just let everything go: your surroundings, the noises of your environment; let everything go except the Platypus. Be the platypus. Feel every bit of tension flow out of you as the Platypus swims.

I want you to slip into a liquid state of utter relaxation.
There is only the Platypus. Breath in deeply, and then let it out. Breath in deeply, and then just let it all out. I want you to imagine a Platypus, floating in its cool, gentle river home. Imagine it swimming, there is no effort. There is no effort at all. There is only the Platypus.

Describe your relaxation animal. If you're feeling too relaxed to post, then that's fine. Let it all go.
There is no effort. Just be the Platypus.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

This works better when someone is speaking out loud.
Read it aloud in your mind, there is no edge to the voice, it's deep yet soft, like the river. It whispers like the echo of mountain air.

Yes they are Monotremes. If you want to imagine laying an egg, then imagine that the egg is everything around you. Let everything fade as your body exhales all the tension of the egg. Now there is nothing except the Platypus.

It's okay to lose yourself in the Platypus. But it is recommended that on your first couple of journey's you try it by yourself when you know you have at least an hour alone.
My first time, somebody approached me while I was the Platypus and I panicked and tried to lash out at them with my poisonous spurs. This fight or flight reaction lessens with experience.

I said 'if you want to'. Only if you want to. There is no pressure, nothing has to happen here. The river flows gently and.... Platypus.

That's fine. That's how it usually is. With experience, the Platypus can evolve to a higher level of consciousness, of true being. When you have reached this level of cosmic awareness, you have become what we call, the Platyperson.

I like to pretend a duck, a beaver and a venomous shrew all got drunk, had a threesome and the Platypus was the result.

Is it a good or bad sign that the tail hasn't disappeared?
