I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.
Well, Hitler was actually responsible for a lot of great things for Germany's economy. While he was viewed as a madman after writing Mein Kampf (which is actually an amazing read), he was essentially the pioneer behind the mentality of modern-day propaganda.
The man's devotion to a unified Germany was remarkable, and you can't possibly be mesmerized by a man who was able to get so many people to follow him in his quest for a Germany dominated world.
Unfortunately, he used his powers for evil and obviously took things too far with his heinous treatment of Jews and minorities. So great leader/decisions? If you take away the murders, sure, a great argument can be made to that effect. In reality, he's more of a cautious reminder to always be vigilant.
