Subject: Bungie's Contract with Activision 2.0?

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Is there any chance that Bungie's contract with Activision has changed significantly from the one that we have all been able to see recently? Not in terms of game genre, but with respect to reveal date and release date?

:-)

Well, the original one never specified a reveal date. I don't know nearly enough about those sort of contracts and stuff to know how easy it is to change a contract or if constantly revising it is a common thing in the industry.

Frequent revisions are common up until the contract is signed by the parties involved, i'd be willing to bet that what we got with their contract wasn't final, so revisions will have been made.

It would be sensible to assume that it was in the last quarter of 2012 to the first quarter of 2012, considering that the game is (was, perhaps?) meant to be released in 2012.

I think I'm just getting worried this darkness will continue for longer than expected.

The contract that the LA Times got is in fact signed.

Amendments to the contract after signature are definitely a possibility, though.
