Honestly, this is a good cover up for all the idiots who won't know its a cover up .

Robotnik.

EDIT: You mean Dark Knight Joker, right? Joker wasn't in Dark Knight Rises.

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

The kind that thinks their plan or goal will make the world a better place, if not for all then for them.

A mix between Chaos Incarnate, evil and loving it, but also with a bit of history in it. Our villain was painfully wronged by the so called "Just and lawful"

Now, he's out to prove how hypocritical they really are...

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

Online Gaming's pretty much like a zombie movie. There are a lot of mindless idiots roaming around but you find some survivors on the way.

I like the Magnificent Bastard evil.

The ones that just stroll in and destroy everything with their intellect, like it was their average Sunday.

If you haven't read it yet, Marvel did a line for Cable, starting at Messiah Complex ending at the X-Men Second Coming that showed Cable defending the child Hope from Bishop through time.

Bishop is just that kind of baddie. He set fire to most of the world to catch Cable, thinking that once he killed Hope, he would disappear and the world would be a better place. In the timeline he created, he made the Earth uninhabitable.

The one who is not a hypocrite. They say they are evil and they show it. You tell me who fits that example

Palpatine.

Look at every incarnation of him. He loves the fact he is evil.

I like the Evil Reflection.

If done right it can be the most poignant by far.

It shows us that there is a fine line between the villain and the protagonist. We see what the hero could become if he falters or loses hope. Sometime the difference between being a savior and a destroyer is as tiny as "One bad day"

In terms of video games those are usually the most interesting fights as well because the villains abilities so closely mirror your own (Think Virgil vs. Dante in DMC 3).

Palpatine.

But he's not evil for the sake of being evil and loving it.

He's "evil" because he truly believes everyone and everything is subservient to the Sith and Dark Side of the force. To him, he's just doing what's natural for any Sith.

If evil is the right path for him then I respect him but I still side with the Jedis over the Sith

Did he say he was evil or did they say he was? I know that he was bad but I do remember studying killers that made him look like a boy scout.

"The big payoff for me," he said, "was actually possessing whatever it was I had stolen. I really enjoyed having something ... that I had wanted and gone out and taken."

He kept a few dozen severed heads in his home as a trophy.

My troll sense is tingling.

The Evil Reflection can be really compelling but from a standard point of view, Chaos Incarnate. Those kinds of villains keep you guessing.

  • 12.10.2012 9:46 AM PDT

What about heroes who become villians? In Castlevania LOS. Gabriel the main character was very pure, very holy and always did good. But after losing everything he loved and gaining great power from a demon who the game says is Satan he became corrupted. It's so sad

Disgusting. BTK was horrible. Killing entire families but he apologized in court and asked for mercy but everyone was insulted that someone like that would say they were sorry

Evil reflection, definitely. Like Evil Spock from Trek: TOS

"Life is constantly fleeting from your grasp even from the very day it's bestowed upon you, but the shadow of death is always there, waiting for its chance to take you away."

"Even though many may not think so, ignorance and innocence are one and the same. The only difference is that one sounds nicer."

"I once knew a man who spent his entire life contemplating where we go after our death....it's a shame he realized it a second too late to tell anyone."

I always liked the Joker, mostly just for the chaos he causes. I couldn't care less about the evil, just about the chaos.
