A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

On Xbox 360? Yes, PC Master Race blablabla etc.

Anyone want to play sometime? I don't really use mic, but I'm a good Recon, who plays the objective.

"But there is no thing as good Recon players"
Yes, there are.

Hit me up with a friend request if you want to play sometime.

Why don't you go check Battlelog. You'll see a lot of morons there, but there's a couple of good guys on it. I'd be unlikely to add you, sorry.

I haven't played BF3 in ages. Might join you if you get a team together and don't mind having a player who's forgotten half the controls.

For some reason, I can never forget the controls to a game. I can stick in a game I haven't played in years and have no trouble getting re-acquainted with it.

Well, I don't have high requirements, just try to play the objective and don't take the game too seriously. I was put into squad of guys few days ago who took the game so seriously I had to quit the game, I felt so akward listening to them swear and moan how other players were so "horrible" and "should go back to CoD", even though none of them even finished top 3 in my team. Yeah, it's annoying. Hence why I only ever use my mic with friends from numerous sites.

Same here, I don't really talk with anyone unknown in Xbox Live anymore, mainly because majority of the people use the mic just to annoy others, swear at them or just troll/trashtalk.

Only once have I met a "sane" person on BF3.

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

A Recon who plays the objective? How rare we are.

I'll send you one if you want to play some.

All chances of survival are beginning to diminish.
Comedy is no excuse for our own blasphemies.
Mass media, Mass pessimism, Mass Denial.
My television tells me to panic, but I don't think I'll listen.
The apathetic force us to persevere, with their backwards priorities.

I am quite decent in the Assault class, but I'm from the States, so yeah...
