The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

If I was to use this song in a video and upload it to YouTube, would I be made to remove said video etc? Or would I need to accredit the artist etc?

Any help is much appreciated!

It would get taken down for copyright violation most likely if it is discovered, whether you credit the artist or not.

Just crediting the artist doesn't give you a right to use copyrighted music.

I can bet a lot of musicians would not like their music being played in a pro -blam!- video....

Having said that, just upload with the song. If it violates some conduct, they'll remove it and warn you.

Thought as much, even if it is non-commercial?

It just kind of feels counter-intuitive that the 'AlexClareVevo' has the song uploaded and you can watch it for free, but if you upload it as background to something else, then they will remove it. In my eyes, if I was a musician and that person's video was watched a lot, I would like my song to be publicised to the market that watches that video. Oh well.

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

So you would like your song played on an advert that goes against your morals/beliefs??

Yes, even though it is probably less likely to get discovered and pulled if it is non-commercial.
