For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.
While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.
I've had to deal with both quite a bit, but I much prefer Imperial. If things are too similar, I tend to forget which one is which. Imperial has very distinct names and measurements. I understand how metric is helpful, and admittedly more logical, especially in sciences, but I find Imperial to be easier to use in everyday activities, like sports or cooking.

France just needs to go away. Seriously. What have the French ever done?
They invented the Metric system, which in my opinion, is one of the best
inventions in history. Imagine if we were still using Imperial units...
I do... I hate metric. Adding a prefix to something to change its value is annoying. Having distinct measurements for different amounts is much easier for me. I know how much a pound is, and how far a mile is. Start adding prefixes to grams, meters, or liters, and I get lost. I have no physical/visual references for anything in metric.
And I have no physical/visual references for anything in Imperial units. They make no sense are're all random, from what I've heard of them.
If you were brought up around Metric like me, you'd prefer it A LOT more. At least there's consistency, in the actual measurements and names of measurements.
