Alright so i recently was playing Urban Chaos.. and well its pretty bad but they did have a few good ideas.. they just delivered them terribly. The graphics were less then impressive.. it really felt like they just stuck in everything and hoped it would work out. The enemys designs were bland and repetitive and most the game was a bunch of propaganda, but i did enjoy some of the little things about the game and i think that Halo 3 should include similar things but they could improve on them alot.

Urban Chaos- Xbox, Ps2

The molotov cocktail- Sure its primitive, but its easy to make.. im sure that in five hundred years they will still have freakin' glass bottles and gasoline. In Urban Chaos, you could shoot the molotove cocktail in the enemys hand or in the air, spread flames everywhere. When you shoot it in the targets hand, he catchs fire with the explosion and screams his lungs out. In the air, you are able to shoot it and it gets destroyed in a fireball of ignited gasoline. I would like to see something similar, maybe an incindery grenade.. A grenade filled with gasoline with a small explosive charge, so its pretty much a small regular grenade filled with a large amount of oil or gasoline. I would also like to see you be able to shoot rockets while they are in the air, it would be a cool way to stop rocket noobs who simply shoot at enemy bases from far and hope they hit something. If someones watching, boom he shoots the flying rocket and it explodes in the air. With the Halo 3 engine, it would look kickass.

The Riot Shield- In urban chaos, holding the L makes you place your riot shield infront of you, blocking all bullets except making you slow and unable to use a weapon while it is up. One thing i liked was that you could still throw Grenades, Molotov cocktails.. and.. butcher knives... over your shield, it decreased aiming but it was still a nice touch. With the shield, you could go up to the opponent and ram his face in with it, pushing him back or knocking him out. The shield gets beating up alot to, blood splatter, cracks, bullet holes. It would even melt if you walked infront of a torch coming from a lit gas tank or pipe. In Halo 3, they could use the Jackal shields or make a human one, because i mean.. we DO have riot shields, why not let MC have one.. it would be heavy, but extra protective. It would add to shaking when trying to aim since you are unbalanced in the weight of your weapons, on the left you have the shield, on the right a small weapon. Make it so it gets bullet holes when hit by human weapons and make burn or melt marks on the places where it is hit by plasma guns. The riot shield would be unable to block rockets and grenades, but it would be an extra defence against certain weapons. It would have a certain energy and a few close up shotgun shots would make it shatter.

Slow Motion head shot- If you make an nice/difficult shot the camera zooms in on the person who was hit and slows down, showing his ragdoll tumble or fly back. To many times in Halo have i made a beautiful shot and wanted to get a better view of it but couldnt.. Maybe make it only in campaign, or if its in multi-player, only on one on one. It is just a really cool effect to see someone tumble down from a high building and hearing there head or neck crack as they hit the ground.

Interacting with your AI partners- giving them orders, clearing out the remaining enemys, breaking down doors or putting out fires. Would be nice if the marines weren't freakin' retarded for once.

I would also like to see something from Soldier of Fortune- PC

I played this game when i was.. about 9 or 10, so 5 or 6 years ago, been a while and i do not have many memorys of it, but it would be nice to see the combat knife. Imagine, slashing at a covenant and seeing a large cut spread across his face where you struck him.. blue or purple blood dripping everywhere. Maybe not a one hit kill, but a replacement to the simple punch. You could also gut your enemy, making him either crumble to the ground, or be stunned for a few seconds, making him open for an easy kill. Maybe make it a vibro-blade, like the one in evangelion (except alot smaller). The only down part that i can think of is in Soldier of Fortune, you could cut at a dead body, if you cut for long enough it would.. uh.. blow up...

Perfect Dark - N64

My childhood game FPS.I do not know if they included this in Perfect Dark Zero, but i would like to see disposable turrets, the Laptop Gun. The Alien weapons from Perfect Dark were extremely amusing and did not limit themselves to the stereotypical plasma crap. I would like to see exploding bullets. I loved the reloading in this game, every alien gun reload looked like you were putting an egg inside a womens -blam!- (taco)

The Chronicles of Riddick:Escape from butcher bay- Xbox

The Bare Knuckle Boxing- God damn that was fun!! Most fun i had punching peoples faces in, better then any boxing game thats for sure. Damage actually was seen on the opponents faces, cuts, bruises, swelling etc. In Halo 3, they should improve on the fighting, maybe make it so you can have bare fisted fighting instead of a one hit thing. C'mon, hes a freakin' elite marine uber soldier but he cant freaking hit someone more then once at a time? Kick them in the spine or SOMETHING.

God damn i hate power outage, second time i write this.

-Far Cry Instincts-

While I personally feel that the game sucks, you have the power to make your own multiplayer maps (Think Tony Hawk: create your own map - on steroids) Not only is there a create your own map, but its good as hell. they give you brushes (i.e. plants, tress, buildings, cars, weapons) and you place them throughout the terrain. And even the terrain is highly editable (makes hills, cliffs, oceans, mountains, change the sounds, change the time of day.)

A halo feature like this wouldn't only make the multiplayer 10x better, but perhaps even take halo multiplayer to the next level, from one of the best..... to THE best ever.

I hated Far Cry: Insticts as well, but i do love the original PC version.

They should have a costumizable map for Halo, but you have to make it fully interactive, for example you should be able to cut down trees as cover with the sword or rocket. Just a thought.

Imagine some of the insane maps some people would create.. -blam!- amazing

Hmm.. i think it would be huge, to big for most games, but they should have it.. fully costumizable weapons and maps would add to interactivity and gameplay, it would make the game a creative place for people to show there abilitys.

I am liking the idea of a “map maker” for halo 3. Anything to make the multiplayer on halo more customizable and creative I am all for.
