In school I had to read Night.

I would've read that, but the teacher assigned me The Hiding Place instead.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Thank You for Smoking

its pretty damn funny

Might I ask what it's about?

Its a fictional book about the MOD squad - or 'Merchants of Death', its the three lead representatives for the smoking, firearms and alcohol industry. Its just about them vs the media and how they try and promote products that are viewed as unhealthy and how both sides put a spin on their words to promote their cause - very very funny

I have recently read 20,000 leagues under the sea and am going into other books by Jules Verne.
You should try some Dennis Wheatley if you ever get the chance.

Not good books. Bad.

currently reading C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity.
Have you read The Screwtape Letters?

And me.
I'm just collecting holiday books at the moment to read over Christmas and January. So far I've got:

The Light of Other Days by Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter
The Blue World by Jack Vance

Rain, and Jazz.
Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

This is an exellent 'book'. I know it can be rather long, but it is great.

(The aliens don't come into play until Act 5.)

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

The Delphi Chronicle: The Manuscript by Russell Blake

It's book 1 of a trilogy by an indie author. It's free on the Kindle store, so give it a whirl! Even if you don't have a Kindle(like me) you can get apps for reading it on iOS stuff, Android stuff, Windows, Macs, Windows Phones, and more. (I read it on my WP7)

If you like action/adventure novels, you should like it.

For reference: I'm a big fan of novels by guys like Matthew Reilly and James Rollins. Along with the real Tom Clancy books(the ones actually written by him; eg. Teeth of the Tiger and before), Dale Brown, Dan Brown, Clive Cussler(mainly the ones written by him and not the coauthored/ghost written novels), Patrick Robinson, and Michael DiMercurio. Most of the second list are political and/or military thrillers)

The "Chaos Walking Trilogy" by Patrick Ness, was amazing. I highly recommend it!

All of the Bourne books

Even the ones written after Ludlum's death are pretty damn awesome and well written (and better in some aspects)
