Subject: A suicide-murder happened in my friend's house in the past

"Life is constantly fleeting from your grasp even from the very day it's bestowed upon you, but the shadow of death is always there, waiting for its chance to take you away."

"Even though many may not think so, ignorance and innocence are one and the same. The only difference is that one sounds nicer."

"I once knew a man who spent his entire life contemplating where we go after our death....it's a shame he realized it a second too late to tell anyone."

The previous owner of this house hung himself from the rafter in the very same room I'm typing this. Doesn't bother me in the least, though I am a little pissed I had to hear about it from the neighbors after I purchased it.

But I do have a buddy that refuses to walk in the same spot he died. He literally walks around the spot on his way to the door every time. Pretty funny.
What makes you not afraid of it? I know for a fact I wouldn't sleep in that room.

Do you believe in the supernatural?
I believe that fact is often stranger than fiction. That being said, until I personally encounter something that changes my mind, I see no reason to fret over possibilities and "what if's". I've been in this house for ten years now. If there's some boogie man hiding in the closet, he's sure taking his sweet ass time making his move.
I get what you're saying. I wouldn't say I'm a believer, but I also wouldn't say I'm not a believer. I've had weird things happen before; Some can be explained, some can't. For example, whenever I close my eyes and lay in bed at night, I begin to feel a presense in the room. You know how if people get close to you, you can almost "feel" them? It's like that.

Nothing like that has ever happened in your house?

BTW I'm not crazy guys! Haha.
I've actually been learning how to "feel" the presence of spirits recently...it's kind of interesting. Never have to worry about wondering if i'm really alone or not anymore. lol

You do understand what I'm getting at though, right?

Like when someone is real close to you but not touching you, and you can tell they're there. When I'm laying in bed, I'll get that feeling and it scares the hell out of me.

Also, if you're joking about your post, then that blows... if not, it sounds interesting, and I would like to hear more.

Hm? Yeah, I know what you mean. Though, that could just be the resulting placebo effect of fear or paranoia. Or it could really be something. I'm not present when it happens to you, so I won't cast any judgement. And i'm not kidding, actually.

I would like to hear more about your sensing that you spoke of.

I'm pretty sure it's still on topic.

Well, it's not really something i've been "learning" as much as i've simply been developing. Not by choice, but...well, I don't mind it. I can sometimes sense the presence of spirits if they're nearby, and I think once or twice I detected a twinge of their emotions. Not completely sure about that last part, though.

Hmmm sounds interesting. This is why I love the supernatural; so many unexplained things...buuut that's also why is scares me.

The mob buried people under my friend's house while it was under construction. Things were different back then.

Well s***, that's intense.

There's nothing really scary about it, unless you deliberately screw around with the wrong things. The only reason even common or minor occurrences frighten us is because we aren't used to "that" side of things.

When did you put the fear behind you? How?

Because I've never done research on my house, so idk what happened. It could of been home to a murderer, or a nice old woman. Feeling like someone's watching me when I'm trying to sleep is still creepy.

Also, to stay more OT, would you be able to live somewhere that someone was killed?

When? Maybe a year or two ago, but perhaps longer than that. And I think i'd be able to. Depending on the type of death, I actually might enjoy living in such a place. More possible experience to have. Or if not, just a cool story to tell any friends that visit.

Well, this has been a nice discussion, but I need to be going to sleep. I'll message you tomorrow, and ask a few questions, if that's ok. I'm interested to hear your view of things more in detail.

Not a problem at all, friend. I should probably be getting some rest myself, to be honest. I'll catch you tomorrow. :)

Why not? It's not like they left the body in the basement- and it would be cheap.

I grew up in the same family home for all my childhood.

When my Dad moved to the area, he got a good deal on that house because the previous owner shotgunned his chin in the backyard.

You're required to disclose historical murder/suicides in a lot of states before you sell a home now.
