I just saw it. I'm impressed, it was a well made movie.. I liked it alot. Very thought provoking and lovely. And That's cause I don't really like these types of movies, but it was really well made. Great movie in my opinion.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

The twist got me right in the feels. Honestly an excellent movie. It deserves much better than its 67 on Metacritic and 85 on RT. Also, it introduced tweens to Come On Eileen, which is a win.

I personally think that the ending would of been better if he actually did cut if you know what I mean. (Don't wanna spoil it for others)

I don't know... I feel like the twist/revelation was enough of a hard-hitting emotional blow that to add that in would just make it go from a happy-go-lucky coming of age movie to holy -blam!- -blam!- what am I watching get the kids and run what is that OH MY GOD!!!

After reading the book I think, personally, that that is more than enough for me.

My girlfriend absolutely loves that movie; I haven't seen it though. Looking foward to seeing what all the fuss is about.
