there won't be anything anyone can or will do to make it right.
But that's wrong, MS can refund us or remove the maps from people who didn't pay.

I don't think it needs to go there due to the nature of the issue that allowed them to be picked up for free. But MS needs to look at this, and the handling of the Halo 4 LE in general, and learn from it. They had a huge opportunity to show that Halo was in good hands, and they release a lackluster bit of fan service and poorly handled bonus content when compared to Bungies most recent offering.
That's another thing that's bugging me, they could at least apologize or give some acknowledgment of their slip up, but unfortunately:

neither of those things are going to happen.

I'd settle for them just doing it better with Halo 5 in all honesty.

MS made a mistake and the maps were put up for free on accident.

It's not a big deal.

This is why people think gamers are entitled.

You bought a DLC, but because a few others got it for free because M$ or 343 derped you all deserve refunds?

Get over yourself.

You could say this guys being a hard-ass.

Or you could say he's having some common sense.

Guys, how about instead of -blam!-ing about $40 bucks you overspent, you take those several hours and earn about twice that money.

People are calling for justice and saying that they wasted $40 extra dollars on LE for the free map pack.

1) The map pack is $15, so you still need to find another $25 out of the value of the LE gifts

2) They didn't make the maps free forever, they fixed the problem relatively quickly.

If it was really an accident... Microsoft would've removed the content for a fix before releasing it.

As for now, people can download it for free. Which means they are testing us on how we react.

>Essentially get robbed of our money
>get called entitled for wanting some form of compensation

Yeah, that's some fine common sense he's got there.
