Subject: Who do you think gave the best evil monologues?

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Of all of the baddies we've watched on TV or on the silver screen, read about in books and comic books, or even played against in our video games, who was at delivering the evil monologue?

I was impressed by Sovereign in this regard, likewise with Apocalypse and Lex Luthor in the comics. But I loved to hear the Prophet of Truth in his tirades. He was, for me at least, the easiest to dislike.

And you?

In games I'd say The Prophet of Truth

Movies I'd say The Joker

Everything is proceeding as I have forseen.

Iago, the main villain from Othello.

There is a version where he is portrayed by Kenneth Branagh, it's good.

Doctor Horrible's anything but evil, that's the point of the musical. Hammer's the villain.

But Bad Horse invites him to join the Evil League of Evil at the end.

The joker

I quite liked his speeches, if only because they were based on insanity as much as sanity filtered through a philosophical lens. His speeches always mulled over absurdism, nihilism, existenialism, and the need for morality, as well as the flaws it brings.

Doom also gave some pretty bad ass speeches. They can usually be summarized to "DOOOOOOOOOOOOOM" but they are always charismatic.

Horrible chooses to do evil deeds as opposed to doing good. Hell, he looks up to Bad Horse and aspires to be in the Evil Leagur of Evil...

But, if you consider Hammer to be the villian, then his public address makes for a most excellent evil monologue.

Online Gaming's pretty much like a zombie movie. There are a lot of mindless idiots roaming around but you find some survivors on the way.

This, also Bill from Kill Bill. The Superman monologue was outstanding.
