One more year and I can get my CCW License here in AZ.

Isn't Arizona one of the constitutional carry states, like Vermont and a few others?
No, you need to get a license here.

Good, maybe the crime rate in Chicago will go down because the citizens can actually defend themselves against these -blam!- gangs who prey on the weak.

Yay the murder capital can now carry guns, what a brilliant idea! -__-
Criminals have been carrying guns, now honest people could defend themselves.

Criminals don't give back their guns and that is why they're criminals and why gun control is stupid in a country like the USA.

I like stuff.

I'm glad. Hopefully this helps out the crime in Chicago. I live in Ohio and my dad makes a lot of business trips to Chicago. He has a concealed carry permit and always hated to go there. My dad will be happy about this.

ive been around firearms my while life hunting and using them. i know what i am doing and the responsabilty they hold, and if i have a question i ask it. carrying a firearm in public is just more responsablity and just another way for that person to get in trouble. so if a person takes that risk in carrying they better know what happens if you have to use it.
But you literally just implied earlier that you think people should be nicer to you because you carry a firearm. That is an incredibly dangerous attitude to have, as is the attitude that you wished you had been able to carry on campus when you saw the shooting going down because you wanted to get involved.

I don't know you personally, nor do I know your personal opinions or feelings on responsible firearm ownership. But what I am telling you is that it SOUNDS from all of your posts combined like you have an itchy trigger finger and like you're hoping to shoot somebody soon. That may or may not be true, but that's definitely how you appear, and arguments/attitudes like this hurt the cause of all of us who are in favor of responsible firearm ownership and concealed carry.

Take it or leave it, it's just my opinion.
i dunno i thought he was talking about the whole "an armed society is a polite society thing."

OMGZZ!!!!!!

"It's Afghanistanimation!"

I am a gun owner and I carry one on me where ever I go that is legal for me to do so. I am TRAINED to only use this weapon in DEFENSE IN A LAST RESORT. I am not going to clinch my grip at hind site of potential trouble. Gun Safety is a must for ALL owners, as well as the proper training in usage. People need to be disciplined in this mater when handling one. Because if you are not, there are some very obvious yet serious consequences.

Also since people are wanting more and more laws that restrict us gun owners--they are wanting to reduce the chance of criminals getting their hands on them. Good intentions they have yes, but lets face it. Criminals are criminals. They do NOT care for the law, so they will do it anyway.

Another thing. If the past is the be any lesson. Lets look at the times of Prohibition. The ban of Alcohol sparked a MASSIVE bootlegging operations everywhere. There was more violence and the criminal world grew big time. If there were more laws on firearms here in the US, would the same thing happen then? Cause and effect. "Those who do not remember the past, are condemned to repeat it."
