Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

Fireteam Crimson, could that possibly be a reference to Crimson Steam Pirates?

Oh Microsoft did cry ... the effect is known as Stockholm syndrome.

When someone is held hostage and threatened enough they have a dependency transference and believe that the person doing them harm is actually required.

Thankfully someone at Microsoft broke that pattern and bungie got dropped - but not too sure that the long term harm hasn't killed off the brand anyway.

Nice Crimson find ... could say it was a 'pirated' reference :)

Ok ... I am almost ready to give up.
Come into the ole crimson forum, see a world of replies and activity ... but no, they are all gone ... is this some kinda christmas anomaly?

Has the crimson forum become some kinda electronic bermuda triangle into which all new bungie.net members disappear?

"just something they came up with" ... oh to be so innocent.

Lets take a walk down history's lane;
- bungie, the creator of halo, get dumped by Microsoft,
- bungie are forced under contract to produce 1 last game,
- an unhappy bungie plots its future (and that of Microsoft)
- bungie trademark the name Crimson
- 6 months later (guess who) lodges opposition
- case proceeds to a hearing (202615)
- mediation goes against bungie
(bungie was aware of the name whilst working on prior licensed works - go figure)
- Christmas 2011 comes for bungie [lol - not]
- bungies crimson folly "ABANDONMENT - AFTER INTER PARTES DECISION"

massive fail bungie.
