My new 4 month old puppy was playing outside with my mom, but she knocked a water fountain over and spazzed out, my mom had to tug on her and grab her, but now she's scared of going outside to poop, she'll only go as far as the parking lot, and she's really jumpy now.

Honestly, this is a good cover up for all the idiots who won't know its a cover up .

Comfort her when you go out with her, assuring her that it's okay. When she does, give her treats and rubs.

Let the dog relax. Try not to spook it.

If you clicked on here to ignore my coup, why? Do I look ugly to you? Do I look fat in this dress or what? Jerk.

That would be a lot easier to read if you used more than one full stop.

Who wouldn't be? There's tons of scary stuff outside, like yetis... and rabid dogs... and butterflies.

OP, it's a dog. It won't remember what happend in a week or two(otherwise my dog would hate me by now), either way, there's nothing you can do EXCEPT check it for injuries.

I'm gonna try, but she'll sit down when we go outside, and I feel bad tugging on her harness, I don't want to hurt her.

Use candy to get her to go outside. Everytime she does something good give her a treat.

Just treat her normal. She'll snap out of it eventually. That happened to my dog when she slipped down my deck stairs. She'll forget it in a day or 2 and be fine.

Thanks guys. Also, is it normal for them to twitch in their sleep? I'm not talking trembling, her mouth twitches and it looks like she's having a seizure, but when I wake her up she snaps out of it,

Yes just means she's dreaming that she's barking.

Just like when her legs move. She's dreaming she's running.

Ok, thanks man, She's only been with me for 3 days so I'm not familiar with a lot of puppy stuff. She's my first dog in 14 years (18 now).

Pick her up and put her outside.
I do but she freezes, I'll try tomorrow again. But I have to make sure she poops one more time today.

Try playing with her outside so she forgets about it.

Yeah I'll try that, Its just tough because she's very shy. She'll shake and cry when I take her out.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.
