It's been about two weeks that I have switched to only drinking water. In these two weeks I've been having major headaches and am worrying if this is normal. I have also been taking more naps.

Has anyone else stopped drinking soft drinks? Did you experience similar things? Will these headaches eventually go away?

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

Or caffine, depending on what kind of soft drinks you're drinking.

I want her...

Stopped drinking them a good few years ago, I never got any headaches but I didn't drink them too often in the first place

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

I guess it's just caffeine, but who knows.

Its caffeine withdrawal, look it up, I suffered the same thing when I got severely addicted to coffee during college, I suddenly stopped drinking it and suddenly I felt like my head was going to explode.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Withdrawal from all the caffeine and sugar in soda.
Just give it some more time.

I have been soft-drink free for roughly 2 years. You're body has a craving for it at this point. Give it a few more weeks and you'll be fine. I've never noticed the part about sleeping more though.

This. I'm doing the same thing and I've been having the same issues that you are OP.

  • 12.11.2012 4:09 PM PDT

Be sure to tell everyone how cool you are. If you don't tell them, they won't know.

They will. Or at least they should.

Also, just curious and probably unrelated: Diet or regular drinks?

You sir, might be addicted to caffeine.

I've tried and it has been fine for me.

This. How much did you normally drink?

I recently switched my diet to drinking nothing but water, and I feel better than ever. However I never drank much pop before then anyways, and when I did it was diet.

I had a very similar thing, only I threw a 14 story building out of a pool and hit a kid on a paper aeroplane.

The Flood is just this awesome :D

How many cans of whatever had you been drinking before you quit? That might be the problem. If you drink more than 1 can a day, then you should probably reduce your intake slowly until you can handle not drinking so much soft drinks so you won't have a "crash" period if sleepiness and headaches.

  • 12.11.2012 4:11 PM PDT

It will be over soon. You'll be tired but give it one or two more weeks. It also helps if you're exercising and not eating junk food.
