I wonder what kind of crazy plot twist M. Night Shamalamadingdong will hit us with this time...

  • 12.11.2012 4:19 PM PDT

Not sure. They already seem to have revealed the twist in the trailer, so maybe they're just getting it out of the way.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

That looks like it could be a good movie, but that's only from watching the trailer.
I can't think of any good plot twist.

Do not waste your tears, I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years, but by the deeds of men.

We should know better, because we are better.

Maybe the twist is that there is no twist?

I saw the trailer and the plot premise and thought it looked really promising - then I saw "M Night Shamwow" was directing it.
Not promising.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

It actually looks OK. I don't know about paying $8 to see it good, but maybe move it to the front of the netflix queue when it comes out on DVD.

I wonder what the twist will be. Or is it being Earth the twist? Or is there a twist within the twist?
Twistception?

Plot twist: It's the sequel to The Last Airbender.

I can't remember if he's due for a good movie or bad movie. Haven't kept up with his trend.

Was a live action Avatar ever going to be good? I mean, look at Dragon Ball Evolution. A lot of anime can't be done in live action.

The second I heard he was producing it I knew it was going to be a flop. You can't take a 20 episode long season of a TV show and condense it into a good 2 hour movie. There's too much character development and lore development in Book One to make the audience give a -blam!- about what's happening in the time available.
