OMGZZ!!!!!!

"It's Afghanistanimation!"

*REPEAT* Why do writers on review sites say that the controls in a Horror game help create tension and scares and praise the idea of it, but, when it comes down to actually playing the game itself. They turn their back on their own words by saying they it was a bad idea. Double standards much?

Does anybody else find this funny? One recent example was with Zombie U. (Lol at me for saying this), but when Greg Miller of IGN reviewed the game--he did not like the controls, which is funny because I recall seeing an article there about controls in Horror games.

Most are bribed to say only good things about a game no matter what.

I've never seen anyone say that horror game controls should create tension, but there is a big difference between controls being hard to master while making the game harder and the controls just being flat out bad.

Silent Hill games- combat controls are awkward to discourage fighting
Resident Evil- controls are so bad that they are almost gamebreaking. The controls come from the fact that there was only enough space in the game data to have 2D "pictures" that the character can move around in with fixed camera angles.

I really wish that the RE reboots or remakes from here on out stick with the great controls of RE4, 5, and 6
