Another thought.

Breathalyzers need to be recalibrated fairly often. What if you accidentally blow over while perfectly sober? Have fun walking to work.

Pretty easy question. Should new cars be required to have a built in Breathalyzer? Should you have to blow under the legal limit just to turn your car on?

My opinion is yes. The car companies should start doing this. I literally cant think of a negative to this. It should greatly diminish the amount of drunken drivers.
Negative is it's a hassle and nobody wants to spend the time.

I'm sure it would be easy enough for someone to hook up something that would blow fresh air into it automatically. Not to mention someone who drinks regularly could be above 0.08 and not feel much, while a person who rarely or never drinks could be well below but still be much more intoxicated.

Oh, yeah, it would also be pretty easy to disable and too hard to keep track of.

I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.

Legal limit varies from state to state. Will never happen. Not to mention there are privacy rights at stake. Won't happen, ever.

To the people who are for it: Do you think that all new computers should come with software that blocks all torrent sites?
